People need to know, like and trust you before they purchase anything from you. And for them to know like and trust you in a shorter time frame, you need to get a little cozier with how often you show up in their world.
I know it’s tricky to think about, but the vast majority of people in your community aren’t actually reading everything that you’re saying. Facebook groups only have between 5-30% views on posts. A good email open rate is around 20-30%. And the people who are on your social media might not necessarily be opening every single email and vice versa. So let’s say you want to sell your 1:1 program and you send an email out with a link to get on a phone call and no one books a call. Bummer! This is terrible right? You may as well quit your business because your people don’t actually care about what you’re saying right?
WRONG.
SO WRONG love!
Your email may have only gotten a 20% open rate and maybe the right people didn’t open that one. Or maybe the perspective you gave in that one email wasn’t enough for your perfect fit client to click! You always need to keep going, keep moving, keep providing value and making the sale. You need to be consistent in business to see results!
If you’re consistent in business, you’ll eventually get there. But there is no shortcut to being consistent, you MUST put in the work and be willing to wait out until the results are in.
I find that a scalable, profitable business needs to have 3 types of consistency to succeed:
Consistent in business growth
To get new clients month to month, you need to have new people coming into your community. Selling to the same 100 women on your list for 3 months will eventually exhaust them → plus you’ll definitely need to have many more people in your community to get to 5k months
Consistent in business value and engagement
You need to show up for your community every single day. Whether that’s via a scheduled Facebook post, an Instagram story or a heartfelt email– you need to remind your community that you’re always there and that you are the person that they can go to for help with the problems that they need solved.
Consistent in business sales
People need to be presented with an offer multiple times before they actually purchase, so don’t be afraid to sell your offers via multiple emails and social media posts. Remember that sales are simply relationships! The more of a genuine connection you have to someone, the better you will be able to communicate the value of what you help them with and the more they will in turn value what you do!
So what do you say, love, are you ready to consistently make an impact in the lives of your tribe to finally make those 5k+ months?
What do you think is holding you back?
